Human Bean is a café in Pererenan, Bali. Set on a leafy street corner surrounded by local residences and guesthouses, the café complements the neighbourhood’s natural and laidback charm. A mix of lounge, communal and table seating is arranged on a floating timber deck, under an open-sided pergola. Local plants and trees filter views from the street, offering a softened privacy to the café. Existing fruit trees were maintained to mingle with the seating, lending their character to the venue.
